My name is Polly. I enjoy writing, good conversations, my friends and family, constantly listening to music, walking through London, museums, films, books and carving out a sphere of meaning and joy in a mixed up, difficult world.

I have a PhD in the history of reading and gender. The thesis was an analysis of reading experiences as described in personal diaries from the eighteenth century in England. I feel this research continues to inform my creative mindset. I work as a content strategist, writer and poet. My home is London.
